ACE Quiz Night 2022 - Book your team a slot

We know that some people may be new to the ACE Quiz, especially as we haven’t held one since before the pandemic. So, to help you learn more about the event we have put together some of our most commonly asked questions. We still have space available for this year’s event and are looking for teams to join us on the 5th April.

Email louise@acegb.org or complete the online booking form at http://www.acegb.org/ to grab your slot.

Do all team members have to work for the same company?

No, we do have lots of company teams as there is a friendly competitiveness about the event, but we often have teams with friends who work for various companies in. If you don’t have six people you can still come along as we often have spaces on teams on the night

How many rounds are there?

We have eight rounds so there is plenty of variety.

What topics will be covered in the quiz?

We are still working on them, but there is always a music round, a sports round and a food themed round.

How does the evening work?

We start at 6pm with a welcome drink and the questions get underway at 6.30pm prompt. Teams sit at tables and answer four rounds of questions and then we break for a meal followed by another four rounds. We finish the evening with our prize giving and a raffle draw.

Is everything included in the ticket price?

A welcome drink, meal and snacks are included and there is a cash bar available for further drinks.

Who has won the quiz in recent years?

Our most recent winners have been Berkeley Scott, Restaurant Associates and Vacherin. We can’t wait to see which team will take the title this year.

Tell us about the venue.

For 2022, we have an exciting new venue in the restaurant at Nomura bank. It is on the 6th floor with a lovely view of the Thames. The room is really modern with a great layout for our quiz and it has lots of screens so everyone can see the scores and presentations.

Can a company enter multiple teams?

Yes absolutely! The more the merrier and it’s a great way for colleagues to catch up away from the day job.
